How to embed a calendly link on Squarespace

Making it as easy as possible for clients to reach out and book appointments directly on your website is a game changer. If you're using Squarespace to host your site and Calendly for scheduling, integrating the two can streamline your booking process, keeping potential clients engaged and on your page. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to embed a Calendly scheduling interface into your Squarespace website.

Step 1: Create Your Calendly Event

First things first, log in to your Calendly account. If you haven't already set up the event types you want to offer through your website, now's the time to do so. Once your event type is ready, navigate to the sharing options for your event.

Step 2: Share Your Calendly Event

In the sharing options, you'll find a variety of ways to share your Calendly link. Look for the "Add to Website" option. Selecting this will lead you to different embedding options.

Step 3: Select the Inline Embed Option

For a seamless integration with Squarespace, choose the "Inline Embed" option. This will provide you with a snippet of code that you can insert directly into your Squarespace site. Click "Continue" and then the copy icon to copy the embed code to your clipboard.

Step 4: Embed in Squarespace

With your code copied, head over to your Squarespace site. Find the page where you want the Calendly booking system to appear. Add a new section or select an existing one where the booking system will fit nicely. Within that section, add a new "Embed" block.

Step 5: Insert the Embed Code

Click on the embed block to edit it, then select the code snipped —> embed data to access the code input area. Paste your copied Calendly embed code here. Squarespace will automatically render the Calendly interface within your page layout.

Step 6: Adjust and Save

Before saving, adjust the size of the embed block to ensure the Calendly interface looks just right on your page. Once satisfied, hit save to apply your changes.

Step 7: Preview and Adjust

Switch to preview mode to see how the embedded Calendly scheduler appears to your visitors. It's a good practice to add some header text above or near the embed block, inviting visitors to book a call or schedule an appointment, guiding them directly to your newly integrated booking system.
